Meghan Markle held Prince Harry's hand as they attended his best friend's wedding in Surrey today, on the same day she turns 37.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pictured at the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks at St Mary the Virgin Church in Frensham, Surrey, just months after they tied the knot themselves.
Van Straubenzee, 30, was one of Prince Harry's ushers during his wedding in Windsor three months ago, but Prince Harry is rumoured to have been paid the ultimate compliment and been made best man for the special day.
The pair became friends when they both attended Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire. Both he and his brother, Thomas, 35, became close to Prince William and Prince Harry.
The newlyweds held hands in a show of public affection, something most royals avoid as it is considered uncouth. Kate Middleton and Prince William have rarely been seen holding hands in public.

Meghan's 37th birthday celebrations today were vastly different to her last. The Duchess of Sussex spent her 36th birthday in Botswana with Prince Harry
Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan, who turns 37 today, entered at different times, with the Duke of Sussex arriving with the groom, groomsmen and ushers, whereas Meghan arrived solo in a grey Seat Alhambra.
Her birthday celebrations come amid turmoil in the Markle family after the Duchess of Sussex's father repeatedly complained about being 'cut off' by his daughter in media interviews with insiders saying she is at her 'wits' end'.
One insider told the Mirror that Meghan is 'deeply hurt' by what is becoming an 'increasingly desperate situation'.
The increasingly 'precarious' situation' could be the 'final straw' for Meghan and Harry, the source added, after Thomas recently leaked details of their private phone conversations on Good Morning Britain.
The Duchess of Sussex arrived at the wedding wearing a £400 dark navy dress, which had trimmings of lilac, pink and green on it. She finished her outfit with a stunning fascinator to match.
She appeared relaxed and in good spirits ahead of the big day, pecking one man on the cheek, and waving and chatting to others.
Meghan's birthday celebrations today were vastly different to last year where she relaxed with Prince Harry on a romantic trip in Botswana.
Villagers, gathered in the churchyard to catch a glimpse of the wedding couple and Royal guests, burst into a spontaneous rendition of Happy Birthday as Meghan walked into the church.
Afterwards Harry and Meghan walked out hand in hand into the sunshine before disappearing into a Seat car so as not to take the spotlight from the happy couple.

It is the first wedding that the pair have attended together since they got married at Windsor Castle three months ago.
Meanwhile the groom arrived at the wedding looking sharp in his morning suit, with pinstriped trousers and pink tie.
Daisy Jenks appeared in good spirits as she arrived at the church, making time to wave to crowds and photographers in a stunning white dress.
An hour later, after a service which included a solo by Prince William’s first girlfriend Rose Farquhar, the couple left in a vintage Indian rickshaw.
The Windsors and van Straubenzees have known each other since they were at Prep school together and are close friends.
Harry has visited the family home in Cornwall almost every summer since he was a child.
